Hi Guys
What advice should I give my customer for aftercare of their vinyl printed cotton tshirts?

Some things I've read are:
1. Wash inside out
2. Iron on reverse.
3. Wash under 40 degrees C.
4. Do not tumble dry.
5. Wash with like colours.

Is there anything else I should mention?
Cheers

If you are using easyweed, you can omit 1-2. Increase to 80C on 3. And even disregard 4 I think.

On the handwash part, I machine wash all my vinyls including the low cost China vinyl and some have undergone more than a dozen washes without damage.

Don't you love the customers that disregard the no ironing instructions for vinyl, on the hang tag and the label in the shirt. And then complain the vinyl came up in spots. Granted it doesn't happen to often. I have several vinyl shirts I wash and dry with no precautions, except no ironing , and they have held up.

If they must iron the shirt, use a cover such as parchment paper. Parchment paper is my go to cover. Mine get washed and dried like everything else. Cold water and medium heat in dryer. NO problems so far. I do tell customers inside out/cold water/ low or no heat.
