hi,

while it seems there are plenty of resources for finding the right t-shirt (even custom made) and printing process, does anyone know of places that can help with adding vintage effects to shirts (i.e. enzyme wash to make shirt softer, and the rugged/torn effects on the collar and sleeves)? any starting point would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

You could try alternative apparel, and give them a call to see if they could put something together for you. It would probably require large quantities.

If you are thinking large production, I'm sure the big factories in china/india could put something together for you:

But I haven't seen any resources on how to do it yourself

yes i found a bunch of manufacturers on alibaba.com based in asia and they seem like they would be able to help... and surprisingly, some of them require no more than a min order of as few as 300, with 1000-1200 being the standard (which would be equivalent to US based companies)
