Versacamm printer/cutter Are you sastified?

I have just recently ordered a Roland versacamm 300I. Hope I have made a good decision. We have a small apparel business, we do embroidery and thermal vinyl heat transfer. Seems like the versacamm is the way to go.
Would like to hear from folks that have one and what they think about this product in the apparel business. Also what type of print media vinyl do you use. Color retention? Does the media hold up well on shirts etc.
Thanks, Tim:)

:welcome:Firstly, welcome.

I don't have a 300i...yet ;)

But, it will be my next purchase...if I had the money, I would buy one tomorrow. The bank and I are at odds on how to pay for it

You will not regret the purchase. It will open so many doors for you.
Your existing customers will be your first to give you work for it.
from there, word of mouth will have it take off.

I bought a GX-24 cutter a week a go, and in the last week I have had two customers ask me to do the vinyl sinage on their work vehicles, one for 9 vehicles the other for 3 vehicles. I had to turn them down, as I have only had the cutter a week and still learning how to use it.

Maybe in a month or so, once I have done some new signs around the workshop..then I might be more confident.

Good luck with it.

As Steve said.....you will be happy we have a VP540 and I couldn't ask for a better machine although we don't really use it for garments other then cut vinyl on shirts (we have a DTG for printed shirts), we use ours more for vehicle graphics, banners, decals etc.

Be sure and report back on your experiences with your new 300i it'll help others here.

Hope this helps.

Hi, i'm new here and i purchased a VP300I. I love it my GX24 is sitting collecting dust :)

I got so many request to do different things its hard to keep focused. It's very user friendly, i just have to figure out my direction to go at it with. :) so many buttons to play with.

The RIP program to me is ok, i bought illustrator and photoshop to do my graphics and then send them to the rip program.
