Vendor Advice

Please move if I posted in the wrong place. I just picked up three schools that I will be doing orders for.

My question is for promotional items like pom poms and the foam fingers and other school athletic items where would I find vendors for them for custom imprinting. Has anyone used anyone they can recommend.

Have you tried Googling promotional items? There are dozens that pop up for that search. I have tried a couple and been satisfied with the product when received. I don't usually pick the most expensive nor the cheapest either. Seems to work. Good luck!
I did the google search but haven't been able to find any wholesale vendors where you have to be a registered business to buy from.. I can not sell them at a profit if I am buying from the same people the school could by from.

Unless your buying huge amounts your not going to get any better pricing most promotional product. Any school we print for we supply T’s, Fleece and other garments. I do offer to get the other items but usually just pass as there’s is literally pennies on the dollar unless your setup and print yourself and then it’s just a few more pennies.
I would say ASI or PPIA. There is another one we used that did not have a membership fee but I can't remember the name. ASI will cost a few hundred a month but if you can cover that you don't have to do any work but collect money.
What we typically do, because you are correct about them being able to get them at the same places, is purchase them and just charge a service fee for doing so. That way we make a few bucks for our time and they still get the added service of you procuring and supplying them. They don't need to know the details. You could still potentially make from a few to few hundred bucks depending on the size of the order. Sben763 is correct.
Great advice everyone. Thank for everyone's help
Distributor Central is an organization for promotional products that do not have a fee for joining. Their website is Home | DistributorCentral - Promotional Products E-Commerce Platform

Hope this helps.
Ok, I just remembered it, https://www.distributorcentral.com
Many, if not all of the suppliers are ASI and PPIA members. There used to be no cost to join. I haven't looked into it in a while but we used them several times for items.
