Hello everyone,

I want to improve my exposure unit by adding a vacuum pump to push the screen mesh down with the glass for a better contact.

I was wondering if the following in Amazon will do the job:

yes , great idea i did it to mine and it helped a lot
Got some wet suite fabric from Joanns for the top
Thank you so much for your time. I'll search for the fabric that you are telling me. Also, what do I need to install de vacuum pump? Any special hose or adapters that I need?
All right, so anyone else that can tell me what else I will need besides the vacuum pump? I see people buy a gauge set, is it really necessary? Any hose or valve?
Go to Harbor Freight, in the automotive section you will find that same pump (for about the same price) then look for this thing called a "transfer pump."

Its a cheap plastic pump (like for blowing up footballs or balloons) but it comes with a hose that will fit the brass of the vacuum pump and it only cost $6. Take the hose out and throw the rest away because its practically garbage anyways.

That's the pump I bought, and it has worked very well with my exposure unit. I highly recommend it.
How's it holding up, still going strong? Thanks for the info.

Looking at this for my exposure unit as well.

better off using what they use. I brought this one. No oil needed like the harbor freight one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Gast-MOA-P...mpressor-Vacuum-Pump-Works-Fine-/163772318158
