I found a piece of art on Pinterest. I did NOT trace the artwork, but used it as a reference. The outline is very similar to the original art's outline. I completely changed the inside though, with different shading. I really want to the answer to be, I can sell a shirt with my version...but I still have the feeling that I cannot... What do you all think? (Sorry if I'm lacking detail for you to answer)

Basically it comes down to ,, if you can see any part of the original copyright image then you cant use it . Unless you can get rights to it. Even if you change it 50 to 75 percent its not yours. At least that is what i have been told .. Maybe a better answer you want will come next.
