Using different brands of ink together

Can I use different brands of ink together? I'm planning on using a low bleed white as an underbase, and am wondering if the other colors have to be of the same brand. I'm currently using IC ink, but am considering using Wilflex as an underbase. Will this work?

I've printed union ink on top of a wilflex underbase without any problem. I don't see what the problem would be, as long as they're both plastisol inks... but I'm sure others around here have a more informed opinion :)
