using a marketing agency to develop and implement the marketing strategy

Hi all

As we all know marketing is crucial to this business. I am no expert, and am hoping that there are marketing agencies that provide services to small businesses to develop and implement a strategy. I know there are some agencies that take a % of your profits (I would be fine with that).
Does anyone know of such agencies that provide this service to small start ups?

I'm not at all sure that my reply will be helpful, but I'll try.

Here in Lafayette, Louisiana, there is a lady who is on our local radio station regularly sharing insights into doing this kind of stuff. Here is a link to her site.

Anyhow, it looks like she does what you're looking for. But I have no idea what it would cost you...

You need to first identify the market you want to focus on; local, state/provincial or national. This will tell you what kind of marketing agency you want to use. Personally for a small business I would look for a local marketing agency in your area to try and build you local reputation up.
