Which ones would you recommend for a newbie? Not really caring too much for price if its pretty much gaurenteed that it has good washability and is a good onvestment. and i know lots of variables with application, a bad heat set or mistake with application can make a good ink seem bad but still there has to some youd recommend for a new guy

Green Galaxy from Ryonet has a lot to recommend it. It is less likely to dry in screen than most, and the opaque white is the easiest to work with that I have seen. Just be sure to let it cool after flashing before hitting it with another stroke, as it can get a bit sticky/tacky.

That said, I prefer Permaset inks, especially their SuperCover line. But they are harder to work with and cost more. So I do not recommend them as the one to learn on.

The Permaset aqua inks are very easy to work with compared to the SuperCover. Not opaque, but if you're printing on light garments it has very good open time.
