any one know anything about an old Ameri-Graph exposure unit?

Never heard of them. That looks really big for screen printing. Have you checked ryonet? They have some nice exposure units that won't break your bank.

Not sure, by any means, but it looks to me like a plate exposure system, with the front load like that.

Amergraph does make good screen exposure units, all the models I've seen are top load.
