I own a Texjet Echo. I have noticed that after washing the t-shirt the colors of the print becomes softer (with and without pretreatment). To correct I have done 2 passes (White T-shirts and Color). With 2 passes the colors change. It looks like the printer is not putting enough ink (CMYK). I have no head problem. All jets are clean.
Is there any way to increase the amount of ink (CMYK) in the RIP?
When using 50% or 100% quality, the amount of ink is the same (according to the ink cost calculator).
I have no problem with White ink, only CMYK.

Hi,

Probably you need to update your RIP software to a newest version because this sounds like the cost calculator is not updating after you change the print resolution. 50% and 100% shouldn't be the same ink (100% is higher resolution --> more ink than 50%).

I have the RIP 7 3190.

I tried printing with 100% and 50% the result is the same and the calculator says the same value (ink and cost) it only changes if if goes for 25% and 12,5%.

The latest build is the v3281, but in any case you should be able to see a big difference between the 50% and the 100%. I'd give a call to the local dealer, maybe we are missing something here. But, the first thing is to update the RIP and check again.
