I am trying to figure out a way to make my new shop set up work but I am sort of stuck with the way it is now and with the position of my computer on the desk and location of the printer I would need a 20 ft cable. I am currently using a 12 footer and it is working fine as far as connection goes, but by the time the printer gets to the back of the bed it is hanging and I have tripped over it already while working. It is very annoying and I want to secure it to the ground out of my way. Can someone tell me if I buy a gold plated connector on each end with ferrite core that is a 20ft cable am I going to have problems? I can't even find a brand name cable this long but check out these two... I am tempted to go with the non-ebay one because it is more money and not on ebay, lol, so I figure it might be a better product.

You can purchase a booster cable. This will extend the length and boost the signal. We have a 12 ft booster cable attached to a 6 ft USB running our DTG Viper and have had no issues. It is an Iogear GUE216 USB 2.0 Booster Cable
