I am interested in doing heat transfer vinyl shirts, especially names & numbers on jerseys. After alot of research it appears that the US Cutter Laserpoint is the most affordable contour cutting plotter out there that also has a good forum for their products. I'd like to hear wht others think about this plotter & also how easy is it to do contour cuts? I'd also like input on which software to get with it. I use Illustrator & Photoshop for my design.

Also, any suggestions on which heat transfer vinyl is good and affordable would be great.

Now that I have had the chance to get familiar with the process of contour cutting, it is really not that hard or time consuming. Just took a couple days to learn how to do it right.

Can contour cutting be done with signblazer elements which I was told is what's coming with my cutter (I won it on e-bay from uscutter).
