Hey all, I am looking to upgrade my press. I currently have an entry 4 color 1 station magnetic press, and I am looking into the Riley Hopkins 4 color 1 station. SS Supplies has it for $800, and they got this trade in program for the press I originally bought, good thing I kept the shipping box.

In terms of quality, and ease of use, is it a good move to go from the magnetic to Riley Hopkins?

I currently use 20x24 screens, and I will be looking into using 23x31 soon, plus I want to buy the all over press as well for even bigger prints. So essentially im looking into buying 2 more presses.

Any feedback on the Riley hopkins and the all over press from Ryonet?

From 4/1 to 4/1 isn't much of an upgrade. A 4/4 will speed up production considerable. Soon you are going to need more than 4 colors. Best to hang on until you can get a 6/4 or 6/6. God Bless.

True, however speeding up my process isnt really a concern at this point, quality is. I currently dont have micro registration, or side clamps, so that would be a HUGE step up for me. I want to get all my ducks in a row before I start production.

I am going out to BURNING MAN in September and have tie-dyed some t-shirts for my crew that I'd like to screen print a logo on over some glow-in-the-dark paint areas.

WTB: CHEAP ! used 1/2 color press that is working and not busted. Not starting a business. A couple 20x24 110 screens and supplies including black plastisol. I have a little cash, but it's cash.
