Over at another forum I read where someone underbased a black shirt with black instead of white. Anyone here ever try this? Apparently it worked pretty well. I guess using black instead of white would hide any mis-registration. Thoughts???
The only negative I could see is that the top color would not be as vibrant on black as it would on white, but other than that I can't think of any negatives.
I haven't heard of that...(that doesn't mean it's not possible...lol)
If the registration is good...white underbase with colors on top is the way to go...
I would be interested to read about black underbase on a black shirt..
Yeah I read that too, but the shirt was white and the top color was gold shimmer. Not the same as a dark tee with regular opaque colors on top. Why dont somebody experimnet?
black on black
i do it all the time
i would rather use a black under and 2hit the top color than 2hit white
white ink is the enemy thick and crusty
i try no to ever use the shirt color as a color in the design...................................
