Hi all,

I had a search but could not find my answer (probably on the site but just didn't find it).

Anyway, I currently do t-shirt printing with Epson UltraBrite inks, but I find the cost of ink to leave me almost non-profitable, does anyone know of a decent pigment ink alternative that suits t-shirt printing, happy to buy in bulk if quality is good enough.

ps: can't afford Solvent, Laser or DTG so stuck with Inkjet for now. (any recomendations on an A3 printer that would suit any inks suggested)

Epson 1400 is excellent, if you can still find one. If not the 1500 is just as good.

I buy my inks from Ink Express in Wolverhampton. There ink is a great alternative to Epsons Claria dye based ink ( about £3.50 per cartridge), but I don't know if they do a pigment version.

Hi Pat, thanks for the reply, I will have a look, I think it needs to be a water resistant pigment ink. But I will message them to see.

I have went for OCP inks from Intelli-Ink(German brand I think), not tried them yet but would be interested to hear if anyone has used them?

What epson are you using?? I tried son ultrabrite and it just clogged up, i think it was Cobra but DONT use them as it clogged im just wondering if its mine that was the problem ..... #
