UK Newbie looking for a mentor :) anyone willing?

In my day job it isn't unusual to take newbies under your wing and mentor them in the ways of the wise - don't think its the done thing in these parts but didn't think it would hurt to ask....

I'm jumping in to this new field, and wondered if anyone fancied being a buddy and passing on some tips and advice?

I'm looking to start a brand, using my own domain, and an eccomerce site, with some kind of automation between my website and the order/print process. Does this exist?

Any tips of points in the right direction appreciated...
