Hello,

I have a dtg printer. But want to do an all over tye dye before i print. Can anyone remind me first how to tye dye? As so many years since i last did . Think it might have been at school.
And second will i be able to print over it with my dtg . After i have done this?

Hi,

Thanks guys. Would think about bleaching but worried it affects the t shirt. Have heard it can rot it? Not sure if that is true.
Thanks will look at youtube . Had forgotten that it is a good watch.

Yea, just grab a shirt "put some ties or elastic bands around bits of the
cloth to stop the dye going in, then dip in a tank of dye solution,
it is schoolboy stuff.":rolleyes: Or..... I agree there are a lot of amazing
You Tube videos with various techniques.

If you try the bleaching I recommend a diluted bleach solution of at least
4 to 1 or Thiourea Dioxide which is much gentler on the fabric.

:)I just found that funny compared to what I do everyday.

HI,

Thank so much for that Jo. Love your stuff. Have been on youtube and found some great videos. Will have a go next week and let you know if i was successful.
And thanks for the bleach tip. I will give it a go on some black ones see how it goes too.
