how to make a real tshirt template from a actual tshirt? no tshirt outline or a drawing from a tshirt but a actually tshirt template.

Do you have Photoshop? Here's how I would do it

1) Take a pic
2) Load it into PS
3) Make a layer mask of the outline
4) Select the shading and copy to a new layer
5) Hide your pic of shirt
6) Make a bunch of color layers (if you need)
7) Add art

In fact, I think I should make some right now!

I had this same problem. there are fellow designers that have made the process easy and simple. Try arsenal.gomedia.us/templates or try www.gomediazine.com/tutorials/photoshop/how-to-create-photorealistic-shirt-mockups/. I use this free template to mockup my shirts. There is also designs by humans who have realistic templates. T Shirt Guidelines For Design And Printing. The other post about making the a layer mask were great, that's how i started, now i drag an drop my designs.
