I am trying to Contour the word SHARKS to put an outline around the entire word in Corel Draw X4. It will put a contour line around all letters except the H. Why? Using Athletic font.

You know I've had the same issue at times. Converting the text to curves has worked.

Convert it to curves might work, but you might have to delete some nodes to make it work.

And if that doesn't work, select the text, break it apart (Control+K) then convert each letter to curves, select them all and weld. If you convert to curves then break them apart, you'll have to trim the openings in the "A" and the "R".

I'll try all of above. I've been using just outline and then moving to get desired effect. I also discovered that when I use contour and then I can' fit text to path. Is this something I'm doing wrong or just the way the program works? Thanks for all your help.

Actually you can do it either way before or after you contour. Make sure you use the arrow tool to click off the object and then click back on the object and make sure the font menu is back and then fit to path like normal
