Test and retest is what we did when we started.We do ours at 400 degrees 40 seconds at medium pressure. The pressure was our biggest problem just because I thought harder the better that is when we would get a line across the hat from imprinting the paper almost on the hat. Good Luck to you!!!

I did 365 for 45 seconds, light pressure. Did no leave and imprint at all just wondering if I should bump up the temp. Will try again in a bit and see how this all goes. Thank you...
