Hi all!

I'm using PS CS6 and a Ricoh SG3110DNw to print sublimation mugs.

I've printed tons of mugs successfully, but started having issues when trying to print a watercolor design. The color I most want to show (teal) is coming out army green. I started tweaking settings based on information found online, but now I've made SO many tweaks that I fear I've screwed things up.

1. I am using the correct ICC profile for the sublimation ink
2. I have seen many suggestions to disable color management for the printer but Ricoh doesn't make it easy. I cannot find where to do that.
3. In PS, here are my settings:
- Proof Setup > Working CMYK
- Color Settings
- Print Settings

One basic question I have is, my ink is currently VERY low for all colors except black. It might be obvious...but will this effect the output color? On my everyday Canon printer, it prints great until the ink runs out completely, and then I change the cartridge. Is this different for sublimation printing/inks? The output isn't faded, and all other colors print satisfactorily...but I actually need that teal!

Any suggestions? Thank you so much!

The interesting thing is... I just printed the design on my Canon (everyday) printer as a test for layout on the mug, and it printed a gorgeous teal - just what I want! So there is something faulty in my Ricoh settings, or the printer is overriding the print job (rather than letting Photoshop manage colors), or....idk. (?) But as soon as I switched from Canon to Ricoh and selected the proper settings, I could SEE the color in the design go from a beautiful teal to a flat green in the preview.

Where do I ensure that CMYK is being sent to the printer? I have my color settings (as shown in the link in my original post) converting my workspace to "working RGB". Is there another place I need to do this?

Thank you!
