I bought a batch of blank patches and have tried a variety of different ways to sublimate them, but always have an issue with the border melting or flattening.
i tried to mask the border with something heat resistant, adding something spongy behind the patch to allow the border to sink in, etc... but having a hard time with this.

Anyone have a good solution for this issue? any tips would be appreciated!

Maybe make a disk the size just inside the merrow and place the patch on that. Maybe out of wood or metal.

Maybe put a black outline around your design to match up with the merrow.

have you tried adjusting your pressure? you could be using too much pressure on this particular substrate
