Trouble with a font file

Hello, I downloaded a font today called Old Block Black. The ttf file is named OBGB.ttf. But when I go to install it on my Mac, Font Book just calls it New. And it's not showing up in Illustrator as anything. Is there a way to change the name Font Book reads from the file?
