Hello all! I am new to this so excuse my ignorance. I just received my 15 by 15 powerpress today and tried heat pressing my PPD inkjet transfer paper. The first couple of presses, nothing was sticking to the shirt. I played around with my pressure gage and tried again. The image transferred but there is a problem. There is this weird clear layer on top of the image that looks like clear tape pressed into the shirt aswell. Why is this? What can I do to prevent this? Thank you.

use plastisol transfers, keep in mind that when it comes to keeping your customer happy, don't cheap out. It will always bite you in the derriere. You are better off not getting a job than dealing with issues.

It would appear that color is not "light enough". There are transfer papers for dark colors, Jet-Opaque II, Neenah 3G Jet-Opaque, that work wth varying degreees of success, or just stick with white fabric.
