I am printing on sequins (100% polyester). When I made samples, they looked great and I then proceeded to order thousands from the manufacturer to fulfill an order.....

The images sublimated on the ones I got in (still 100% polyester- they are sequin) look super faded and I cannot give to my customer. I tried increasing the pressure- no good. I tried it at 400F and 360F and got the exact same results. I used black and darker inks in case that was the issue. I bought sequin fabric from Joann Fabric and my images printed fine. I tried on another sample and it worked fine.

I would say that the fabric is off, except it is sequin. From what I understand, all sequin is 100% poly. ANY SUGGESTIONS? I AM GOING INSANE OVER HERE....

THANKS IN ADVANCE...

It is the middle of the night in China, so I have not heard back from the mfr but per the order, they are 100% poly. Is there anything you can think of that would remedy this? I posted pic in an album on here and sent you the link...

Hi,
No. The actual sequin is polyester. I just spoke to the mill in China. They used the incorrect material- maybe some sequin is not polyester??? But the ones I always use is 100% poly... even the sequin from Joanns fabric store produced vibrant pics. I just got screwed. This crap always happens to me- I totally have a black cloud over my head lol.
