You dont need anything special...most any transfer tape will work.
Yes you can use high tack on both...we use medium tack for everything.
(For transfer tape we use transfer right brand...not Orafoil/Oracal) (TransferRight Ultra 582U medium tack)

High tack is overkill for most cut vinyl. If you have a lot of small detail you may want to use high tack. But we find that if you squeegeed it down well and flip it over and do a quick squeegee of the back side...works perfect every time and is easier on the installer.

For 631 you need to use different tape. ORATAPE HT55 High Tack Decorative Film Transfer Tape for 631 Vinyl
