 I am a newbie at this T-shirt Heat Transfer thing. I am printing my own designs from home. They look great, but when I heat transfer them to a shirt other than white, I can see a semi-clear glossy edge around the design. I am trimming it about 1/4 of an inch from the design. It just does not look good. I am not sure if it is the paper that I am using or if I am not doing something right. Any advise is greatly appriciated.

That's the polymer you're seeing and that's normal. The darker the shirt, the more noticeable it becomes.

What transfer paper are you using? If it's JetPro SofStretch you can use a plotter to trim it out closer to the edge of the design.

And if it's JetPro SofStretch the window tends to disappear the more you wash the shirt.

:) Thank you very much. I read a few of the post last night and I was able to make some changes in the way in shich I was doing somethings. I also trimmed closer to the edge. The t-shirts that I did turned out great.
Thanks a bunch
