Trademark questions!!!

Hi everyone!

I'm gearing up to launch my website in September and I'm about to file my trademark application.

I've done a search on ustpo's website and there were no conflicts. But I know that's not the most comprehensive search and I'm wondering if I need to pay someone to do a comprehensive search that includes state, local, and federal conflicts.

Also, I would like to trademark both my logo (picture attached) and name (alquin apparel). I'm wondering if i need to file for separate trademarks or if I can file them together somehow. I know that I will use both the logo and the text independent of each other at times. Is this going to be an issue.

Any and all input and advice is appreciated

Thanks

If you want the peace of mind of the extra searching, then it's worth it. Otherwise, you can probably do your own. The USPTO website is good, since that's where you will find existing marks. Other than that, do some Google and Yahoo searching and just go through as many pages of links as you can. Do searches of variations and misspellings of the mark.

If you want to trademark both the name and logo, it will require separate registrations. You can use the marks however you want regardless of what you register. But to legally protect both, you need to register both.
That takes care of it. Thanks.
