Hello all,
I have taken delivery of a new Summa S160 T series . I am cutting heat transfer vinyl (PU) to press on cotton materials.

No problems for the first day but then I think I might have touched something and now the vinyl bows and creates a wave in the forward feed. I am trying to get around the problem by panelling every 30 cms. I have slowed the cutting speed down to half of its capacity. The vinyl still creates a wave and this results in cutting errors - wasted vinyl

The machine was supplied with 4 pinch rollers. I can take the pressure off the center two rollers if required and just run on the outer rollers.

Does anyone have any advice for me?

Thanking all for their input

Manpreet
