tracing artwork in corel 4

Im trying to trace a piece of artwork that a customer has on his t shirts and when i send it to corel 4 and trace it some parts come out shaded ,so i didnt know if i have to convert it to bitmap or which trace option would be best suited for this black and white artwork?thanks Gary

You can try converting to a black and white bitmap and then re-trace it sometimes that helps flatten the image and make it two colors instead of many different colors of black and white

U can use line art. Or a variation of the logo settings. Then play with the detail and smoothness slides. But also go the colors tab on the trace control panel. Then in the box select number of colors to 2 or so. Or when it shows all the color swatchs u can shift select. Hold shift key down and click colors that are similar then release shift and select merge at the bottom. Play with those if its text faster to redraw it.
