Hi Everyone,
I recently purchased a T-Jet 2 1200 from an embroidery shop that was rarely using it. I got manuals, software, Instruction videos, supplies and about 30 minutes of briefing on how to keep the machine clean. I 'm a Macman, so I purchased Parallels and Windows 7, only to find out the Fast Artist 1.5.1 would not work properly with 7, so I purchased Windows XP. I've never owned a PC, so I am still learning that operating system, and relying only on the videos for the T-Jet 2, it has been one heck of a learning curve. Les Rose & Karl Steele at American Screen Supply have come to my rescue a couple of times, particularly on flashing lights, encoder strips, capping stations, and bulk ink system. So, as with all of you, I too have a lot invested, and would like to ensure that it will be a profitable endeavor.
Tips from the T Shirt Forums have helped me learn about transfers, vinyl cutting and supplies, illustrator, and photoshop. I'm hoping now that all of you will help me with the T-Jet 2.
When I check the T-Jet section of T Shirt Forums, most of the time the posts are seeking help with a particular issue, which, of course is a purpose of the forum.
I am going to ask that this be the start of a TIPS thread. TIPS on the best ways you have found to prep a garment, use software settings, import from other programs like photoshop, and post treatment, to produce a Top Quality Garment.
As always I thank you in advance,
Macman
My First Tip.
I have found that my T-Jet 2 must be on a sturdy surface and kept level at all times.
