Well the time has come and my current flash just isnt cutting it anymore. It has developed hot and cool spots and being I am relying on it to make a living, its time for an upgrade. I am curing using a conveyor dryer. I am running a 6/4 Manual setup.

Experiences, advice, or just your opinion. All are welcome!

I have 3 BBC flash units. 18x18 IMO is the minimum size I would use. I have 2 18x18 one 1900w and 1 2100w. The other is a 18x24 is a 240v model and is either 3100 or 4500w. I haven't taken the time to amp it out yet. As it was tagged wrong from the factory. I like the 2 higher wattage flash units as they flash quicker and seem to cover the entire image area where as the 1900w seem to sometimes not get the outer area.

Most the flash units made have a BBC heat panel.

I have two vastex auto flashes (110) I like the auto part - don't have to worry about burning up a pallet.
expensive? pretty much - but worth it in my opinion
Have two red chilis for my diamondback S - great flashes.
