Things you should know BEFORE buying a DTG VIPER or any other DTG

1. You must do all the work yourself.SWFeast will fly someone in for about 500 dollars.I have ladies in our shop and the support staff expects them to completly tear the machine apart(what a joke).All of our other equipment have techs within a 3 hour drive.
2.If you cannot prove it is the machine just broke they charge you for the parts.
3.You do not get any update notices on schedule work recommended by swfeast but if something goes wrong they blame you for not doing them.
4.There employees will say or do anything to make you have to pay for the parts even if it was impossible for you to do anything to break it.

I like the machine but hate what the market has done to allow companies to promote a warranty that they know is impossible to uphold.If a motor burns up they should fix it.It they find a problem with the manufacturing of the machine they should fix it.MAKE IT RIGHT.

I would like to help you out but without further details on who you are I am unable to access your support records. I will be in the office for another hour before heading to the airport to fly to the Atlanta ISS show, so I may not be able to get an immediate response to you.

Like the screen name :) I am sure you will find many SWF customer posts and their experiences on here..

I don't encourage the bashing but I am understanding your situation I have been there and done that.

Its frustrating.. We had to take matters into our hands and if it weren't for the help from the forums, Belquette(entire staff), Dan (dtginks.com, Karl Steele, Adam, (threadsafe), Harry Equipment Zone.. we would not have been able to turn our business completely around and have two DTG brand printers working around the clock with no problems.

I know you have Viper and not sure if Belquette can help you but I suggest you give them a call..

You don't need WIMS (trust me)

We all get it, you hate us and everything we represent, but, directing a customer who has a remaining year of warranty on their machine to someone other than their distributor is not very sound advice. If a user takes it upon themselves to work on their machine and damages components of the machine (including those that are covered under the normal conditions of the warranty) then they become liable for the repairs.

I am trying to determine the situation being described here, but, without further info regarding the situation there is nothing I can do to try to help this customer.

I didn't read that he had a remaining year on his warranty... from what it sounds like you didn't know either??

You are accessing the situation the same way I am doing.. "helping the person" but from the evidence I see is that its same thing we all have heard before.

is that bashing your company?? NO its just another person upset with SWF.

I clearly mentioned that I am not about bashing.. I would think as an end user for the "DTG Brand" he shouldn't feel that he must resort to a brand new post on a "public forum" on how upset he is..

Have I done that.. No!! please don't accuse me of hating SWF.. accuse me of understanding this customers frustration of how he feels towards SWF. Accuse me of telling him "you are not alone"..Accuse me of directing him towards getting the help he needs and saving money and not getting the run around. Accusing me of doing those things..but not hate towards SWF
