Are hotronix fusion heat presses suitable for pressing thick substrates such as acrylic and plaques? I have yet to see a video of anyone pressing anything other than garments with this heat press.Has anyone had any experiences with pressing thick substrates such as plaques or acrylics with the Hotronix fusion

The presses have different thicknesses to be pressed depending on the model. Some might be 1/2 in, others 3/4 or more.

Specifications for the Fusion on one site says it can press items up to 5/8" thick, which is pretty marginal for thicker items. I'd call their tech support to be sure. Geo Knight claims their swing away presses handle tiles, woods, plaques, etc. I believe they can handle items up to 1" thick. Again, get the most accurate answeres from tech support.
Hello Sir,
The manual Fusion will print up to a 3/4" thickness. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
