Did a search and read a bunch on the sweatshirt printing subject. I printed the t's just fine but not the sweats. I raised the off contact bolt prior to starting and is set at 1/8 inch. I did a pull flood, push print and got a light image. (Red on Grey) The ink did not fill the fiber/mesh of the shirt very well. Flashed for about 10 seconds and did another pull/push combo. Some of the areas filled in but not all. A third pass with the same technique yielded no better results. It is as if no matter how much ink I put down, the ink does not fully coat the fabric.

Any gurus with an idea????

Not the guru, but you might set you offcontact to .25".
Flash less, due to the fleece absorbing heat faster. You probably cured your ink instead of just gelling it.

Pre flash you sweatshirts prior to printing and let them cool down for the first stroke. That way you will pre shrink them and prevent shrinking and moving between the strokes.

I have also found that doing more than one pass of ink works good. Not just a light coat either, more of a medium pressure to send more ink through and maybe two passes to make a nice thick layer of red, then flash, then hit again with a light layer ..works for me.
