It's been a couple years since I built my first press and as I've gone along I've posted links to videos as the design changed. Well, I think I've finally finished the T-Press design (so named just because of the shape). Since I got a little wire welder for my bday last year, I decided to play with some square tubing and this is what popped out:

It still uses rare earth magnets at the 3 registration points and the registration bar can still be adjusted up to 3 inches either way. Though they aren't up on the website yet, as always the plans will be free at:Crafted By Christopher

Plenty on the wooden version: https://www.youtube.com/user/cyclesurgeon. This one works exactly the same way (even using the same platens with the mounting adjusted for the smaller tubes).

This looks similar to something I was planning on building now that I have access to a welder. Basically just a platen arm that has a clamp you can hook to the edge of a table. The only difference is you seem to be using vice grips to keep it hooked where I was planning on building an actual clamp. Good job.

I just did a quick clamp up with this one. My 1.25 press lets me use bar clamps inside the tubes.
