Howdy
PS C3.
I don't recall any other time having this issue but for some reason when I type some text now the letters are spaced really far apart. Way more than what is normal. Like 5/8in between each letter.
Tired different fonts and point sizes.
Not sure what is going on any help appreciated.

Hello, get the "character" panel up, then look for "A V" with a double headed arrow underneath pointing left and right.
Select all your text then change the number to adjust the spacing.

When you have type selected up on your top line of options you have a frowny face with a t on top of it.. that is for attaching type to curve... next to it is a box like thing that looks a little like a piece of paper.. click on that and it brings up your line spacing and kerning.. it must be set wide by accident? play with that you should get back to normal type..

Hold down the apple key (Alt key on MS I think) and use your left and right arrows to adjust the kerning between individual letters.

The AV double headed arrow was set to 880. Not sure how or why but when I put it back to 0 that did it.
