THIS WEEK ...INKS.. PLASTISOL , WATERBASED, DISCHARGE, AND SOME HYBRED (PLASTI/WATERBASED)

We all know about plastisol it easy to work with, super tough, cheap, (the least toxic of the bunch based on smell)
and after last night the only ink i want to use.

waterbased is great after its done nice & soft but no fun to print ,,, first the smell "waterbased" it has to be more toxic then plastisol, and it gets everywhere ,it has no stickyness(its like clumps of jello on your screen ...)

discharge also very nice after the cure but i think i can feel it eating my brain ""toxicboy""(i used a no formaldhide type) and its like putting water on your screen (no control)

and that hybred omg it should not be sold (very hard to work with and cleanup ,it smells, drys in screen) bad stuff

so plastisol wins in ease of use
least toxic
easy cleanup
nice prints that last

YOUR 2 CENTS

on the toxic side of things "whats the truth"

the water based i used isn't so bad as far as smell goes, but the thing that bothers me is the drying aspect. I like that i can be lazy with plastisol and leave it in the screen and get away with it...

haven't tried any others yet but i will someday i'm sure...maybe not the hybrid though... sounds like a good idea but a bad product...
