Hey all, I'm new to embroidery. I picked up a PR650e recently. However, embroidering caps is poor at best.

The text is wider the closer to the middle it is. I'm sure I've hooped it OK.

Anything obvious I may be missing - thanks!

Post a picture of how you have it hooped.
Also a picture of an embroidered cap with the problem.
Was the design digitized to stitch from the bottom up, and center out? Even with a single line of text it is better to break it up so that half stitches right to left, and the other half left to right.

Most likely a digitizing issue, not a machine issue.
