Hi all,
I've tried searching for this but couldn't find anything.
I've got a (good, return) client for whom I just printed up some shirts for. They wanted the charcoal color from Gildan. They were printed 3c/3c with Rutland plastisol and heat pressed (330F for 5 sec.) for a nice smooth finish. They turned out great but now they say the charcoal color [of the shirt] is fading to a tie-dye brown from sweat. I've never heard of this before and still have to see these. On one hand I'm concerned because I cannot order the same color from any of my big 3 distributors, but OTOH, I know my client does a lot of upholstery and carpet cleaning with who-knows-what chemicals. Anyone run into this before?
