Tajima TMHL firmware

I have a Tajima TMLH, but the battery discharged then I need to reinstall the firmware.
I have a ex.sys file, but need to know how to prepare the 720K diskett (2DD) for the TMLH to accept the file and install. Does it need a special software or hardware to prepare the diskette ?
I just copied the ex.sys as is to a empty floppy but the machine does not install.
I'm pressing the "set" while it powers up, it shows 'installing..' but then it shows foppy error, so I do not have another floppy that's because I need to someway prepare a fresh one to try.
