Greetings All,

I have recently purchased an older tajima 4 head and it read's DST files. Every color change the machine stops and has to be manually restarted after it switches colors. I have programmed the color changes and the machine switches; it just won't continue on its own.

Is this normal? My other "newer" machines switch needles and continue to sew with no stoppage.

ANSWER: Yeah!! I found it... I see that my color change was turned ON but my Auto start was turned OFF. I just assumed this machine was stupid because it was so old. Turns out you have to not only read the manual but also understand what you are reading. LOL!

Glad you figured it out!

We have an older Tajima single head that has to be restarted when at a color change of the same color. If that makes sense. lol
If the color sequence is black white white.. it stops between the whites and I have to push the start button.
So I feel your pain about having to keep hitting the start button.

In the upper left side of the panel are 2 LED,s.
Are both ON (light) ?
