All of our tackle twill is sewing correctly except for this character. The sew file is made directly from the Ioline cut file. It sews the outside of the character perfectly but one it gets inside the character it doesn't sew over the twill. Any thoughts or ideas as to why this is happening would be much appreciated. Thanks!

What software did you use? this looks like the sewfile reversed the offset of center line. (usually twill files have a 30% offset twords the outer edge meaning that 70% of the width of the stitch is over twill and 30% is on the fabric. This looks like the outlines got reversed.

We use Ionline 301 to make the cut and sew files. Our settings are -
For outline border width: 5mm overlap 70%
For the letter width: 3mm overlap 80%

Is there something I'm missing?

errr try the letter width 3mm overlap 20% then try? or seporate them.

I dont have that software but the coding behind it might be wrong depending on how the cut lines were defined. Because the files are interior cut lines and exterior cutlines... if they were seporate layered cut line objects the program may see them as "outline file" expecting the twill to be the part you cut out of the object not the hollow space. meaning the offset is the wrong way for those sections

If I remember correctly, the trick to that is to work on the vector art before it gets into Ioline. If you use Corel Draw, then separate the text into objects, and then break all the objects apart before exporting/importing into Ioline. Then in Ioline, you have to select each object and make your settings. Look carefully at the insides of the letters, to see if you need to reverse your numbers.
