T1100/WF1100 initial setup with bulk ink

hi guys
i have just purchased a T1100 for transfer printing and am awaiting my delivery of refillable ht ink carts from inkjetcarts.us

i think i read somewhere that i should install the included durabrite carts first to get the printer up and running before i pop in the refillable carts

is there a risk in setting up a new printer with refillable carts?

I don't think it makes much difference. I set up my old C110 with Dye Sub inks in a CISS with no problems from new (supplied new without the CISS fitted)..

thats good to hear, ill just use the refillers then
i wasnt sure how i was going to empty 5 brand new durabrite carts, it sure wouldnt be for transfers
my durabrite tests have all had very weak blacks
