Hi MB, does Japan have something similar to the United State's Federal Trade Commission (FTC) that regulates and defines requirements for garments to be sold in the US? An example would be what is required on a garment labels and care tags.

They do but it's a bit more relaxed than the US. Sorry don't have any examples...

Yes! Japan is the center of trend starters. The styles you see popular in the states now were hot here 2 or 3 years ago.
