I recently have had a customer who posed as a screen printer and needed a specific shirt. He said his supplier was out of stock, and needed them for an order. He had all the appropriate info (product #, colors, sizes, quantity) so I proceeded with the order...

He bought 2000 blank shirts and had them expressed shipped. 3 months later turned out he used stolen credit card information.

Just wanted to post to inform others to be careful of who they do business with...if you're taking credit cards. Asks for a form of identification and proof of residency if the orders large enough. Finally, NEVER ship to an address that's different than the billing address.

If I wouldve been informed, I could've avoided this $12,000 mistake. If it sounds too good to be true, chances are it is.

Sorry it happened to you but this same scam goes around in many industries. Any foreign, credit card or transaction over internet you should call the card company and verify. Make the card company call and verify.

This has been posted here and many sites across the web.

We only do local business so when we get someone from out of the area we ask 'Why us?'. Why would someone in New York, Arizona, or anywhere else contact us when there are thousands of places closer?

Aside from that, your vendor agreement with your distributors probably prohibits you from selling blank stock.
