Hi all. I was just wondering how I should have my designs made ready for t shirt printing. What sort of template or sizes should I make my graphics for? Got anything to share?

I'm using adobe illustrator and I just finished making my design, how do make it right for a t shirt so i can give it to printing company.

Is it a multi-color print? Then you need to color separate it? Also make it the size you want the screen printer to print it.

If you have some Templates, send those along with your separated artwork. Use the templates to show the screen printer where you want everything printed.

Ask the printer for their templates. We've developed ours over time to match all our different pallets. Not all printers are using the same pallets, screen sizes, etc, so to be safe at least ask them for their pallet size and or safe imprint areas.
