Hi all
I am very new to this site and also to the whole T-shirt printing scene in general.
I have been scouring these forums for a couple of weeks and i have found a ton of fantastic info which i am very gratefull for......
Anyway onto my post........
I like many other people am looking for t-shirts suitable for sublimation printing, my problem is there is a million websites offering such products but when i check the details they all say 100% cotton. I have been in touch with wholesalers and most dont know what they are talking about and say its ok to sublimate onto cotton (this forum tells me otherwise)
So my question is does anyone have a reliable wholesaler of at least 50% polyester t-shirts.
Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave
I am at this point too - I have found 2 reputable suppliers:

Xpres.co.uk : Subli Garments | Xpres Transfer Technology
and
Ralawaise.co.uk: https://www.ralawise.com/product.aspx?id=6228

I am looking for my first batch as cheap as possible as this will be practice shirts and will no doubt get spoiled so don't want to pay more than I have to for experimentation.

I can find loads of suppliers of cotton and cotton mixes but these are no good for sublimation. Hopefully someone will see your post and we'll both get some answers!
Regards
Helen

Hi again
Thanks for the link Dave - I have registered and read a few of the articles - only prob is that its based in USA and I'm in UK as I think is the OP so suppliers not really useful. But the knowledge base is great.

After a day of searching and a phone call to Ralawise I have found another range suitable for sublimation AWD Just Cool - they too are 100% polyester. https://www.ralawise.com/searchresults.aspx?brand=215 amongst other suppliers

Unfortunately I haven't found any sub-suitable tshirts for less than £3.25 for smaller quantities - yet!

I am going to buy a selection of the ones I have discovered to test print/wear/wash, etc.
