Fine T-SHIRT Art
August 29 - September 29, 2005
J. David Broudo Gallery of Art
School of Art and Design, Endicott College

The J. David Broudo Gallery of Art is seeking artists to participate in an exhibition of t-shirts that present images of their personal fine art. Themes and styles are entirely open and at the discretion of the applying artist. All entries by qualifying artists will be included in this international survey. Shirts may be printed or hand-applied, multiple or unique. There is no application or exhibition fee, however all entries will become property of Endicott College and will not be returned to the artists. Some shirts may be auctioned to raise funds for the Gallery.

Interested artists should send the following to arrive no later than Friday, August 12, 2005:
1. Two different images/t-shirts,
2. Artist’s Statement,
3. Resume,
4. CD with jpegs of the two images (optional),
5. Release Statements to include release of liability, authorization to reproduce for marketing of the exhibition only, and transfer of ownership of two shirts to Endicott College.

Artists must be at least 18 years old to participate, and agree to donate their submissions to Endicott College. There are no other restrictions, provided the full application and t-shirts arrive at the J. David Broudo Gallery no later than Friday, August 12, 2005. Accepted applicants will receive documentation and recognition of their participation. Cash and a solo exhibition will be awarded. Future sales will be encouraged by directing potential buyers directly to the artist, and will not involve the shirts in the Gallery. Endicott College will not retain a commission on sales.

Submission to this exhibition constitutes acceptance of stated conditions and includes permission to photograph accepted work for publicity and for educational purposes. All entries will be handled with care; however, Endicott College will not be responsible for any loss or damage to submitted work. Insurance is the responsibility of the artist. The Gallery reserves the right to withhold shirts from the exhibit.
